I'm just going to put it out there, I LOVE Secret Squirrel. Love their new range, The White Album, too. If I could throw out my entire wardrobe and start from scratch again this would be it.
Check their site out or head down to the Finders Keepers markets in Sydney at CarriageWorks on Friday 7th & Saturday 8th May.
Inspired by Laura's side-project How's Your Weekend, I thought I should post some photos from mine!
Photos are from travelling up to Newcastle for my grandfathers 89th birthday. I love my grandparents place, there's always so much food plus I always find kitch, vintage knick-knacks I didn't notice as a kid. There was also, yep, you count it, TWO desserts. And I ate lots of both.
I won the new Seth Troxler Boogybytes cd through Resident Advisor last week and opened the package yesterday. A real life cd! I love these covers shot by photographer Axl Jansen. My fave is the Ellen Allien one cause it has a bloody awesome track list!
I visted my old sharehouse last week and one of the new housemates has these SUPER AWESOME SHELVES made/upcycled/recycled from old skateboard decks. He must be cool. I haven't met him yet but hopefully he doesn't know I took these photos and put them on the internets. That might be creepy.
I love pin-up girls. Glamorous and sexy yet somehow wholesome and completely non-pretentious. I wonder how the glamour girls of today will be viewed in decades from now? Somehow I don't think they'll be fitting the same description.
I saw this on the weekend and love everything about it. It has such a great intro and the track is a perfect blend of rock and funk. Hopefully they didn't just tour (though I have a feeling they did)?
I may be a little late, but Tin&Ed do some unbelievably awesome work. Not limited by just design, their sculpture skills are put on show for both Tourism Victoria and Visa- having seen the final result before their site, the full scale hadn't hit me until today. Can I come work with you guys?.
Christoph Niemann brings a great sense of humour to his work and I can't help but smile! This is my favourite series, wouldn't you love to imagine your house products are having a dirty love affair?
